    This brings back memories!

    I grew up watching Rankin & Bass' tv puppet version of

    "Rudolph The Red Nose Reindeer"as far back s the mid

    1960's. When this animated musical Yultide tv special

    was part of NBC TV's and "G.E.'s Fantasy Hour!".

    (This was long before G.E. became the main owners

    of The NBC TV Network)


    The story was fun,pogient and tuneful..something that

    you don't see on tv or the movies these days.

    I've seen the edited version of"The Year Without A

    Santa Claus"in syndication a few years ago and it was badly

    edited.(They've cut out the scene where the elves meet

    Agnacius and they've cut the scene Where Santa flies on one of his

    reindeers to find his errant elves)


    Which Stinks!

    I'll never understand why these damn fools can't show these

    programs complete and uncut!


    Anyway,

    Thanks For sharing these rare pieces of artwork and photos

    from the works of one of the movies and tv most creative

    and caring animators!
